This room is okay, but it doesn’t really grab you. It looks like a fairly boring dorm room without the posters of half-naked people. While the designer tried to be a little original on the floor, the space is pretty drab and doesn’t really demand your attention.

Using Sherwin Williams’ Color Visualizer which I already discussed here, I virtually painted the walls to show the major difference it can make in a room. I picked these colors fairly randomly, so don’t critique me too much. I merely wanted to show the change.

Whether you like the colors or not, you have to admit they are almost all a nice step up from the boring off-white color. Having you own set of before and after pictures does not have to be pricey.
